First Edition Zine Release: The debut publication houses the body of work from Frankie Tobin’s Life Afterlife (2019-2021). Inside viewers will find a showcasing of small works that support the 3 larger triptychs of the collection–‘The Morning’, ‘The Day’, and ‘The Night’. The zine features pull out panels that examine the nuances of her pigments–as well as fragments of the artist’s sketches, writings and ideations depicting the development of this narrative. This item is a signed collectable, all parts hand made in Los Angeles CA.

Note from the Artist: “My intentions with this work are to illustrate the aspects of self that come to light through experiencing the integration of another being. It is a narrative of development and decomposition. As characteristics of sunlight vary over the course of one day, so too do we participate in a cyclical waxing and waning of absence and presence, deepening and surfacing, withdrawing and connecting”.
